Nichols Diversified Industries has started construction of a fully loaded 48’ x 18’ combination commercial fishing boat for Harper’s Unlimited Inc. of Aberdeen, WA. This boat is all steel construction featuring two fish/crab holds with an integrated 25 ton chiller system, crab block, salmon/tuna trolling gear, removable bait tank, and crab/fish sorting stations. Accommodations include a full head with shower, berthing for four, large pilot house with full galley including refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and ample storage. Propulsion power is provided by a Cummins QSL9 diesel engine producing 330 bhp. Electrical power is supplied by a Cummins/Onan 65kw 3 phase generator.
